  U.S.N. Cutlass 1841
Inspector’s mark “J.C.B.” on left side of blade; these initials indicate either Joseph C Bragg or John C Beaumont. These are found under “1843”.
Inspector’s mark “W.A.J.” on curved part of brass guard.
Right side of blade is clear stamp showing N. P. Ames over “Springfield”.
Bottom of pommel has clear “#15” stamped on front of brassguard. Also, large stamped “47” in large “A”
Blade has a lot of pitting (not deep). Otherwise excellent condition.
Very scarce because majority of these weapons were confiscated and the brass was used for later war effort.

    British pattern 1895 Infantry officer’s sword
By Wilkinson,
32 ½” blade,
Single fuller on each side of blade designed for thrusting Without edge except near point.
Blade etched on both sides,
“Henry Wilkinson / Pall Mall / London” on reverse ricasso.
Serial no. “34511” on spine,
Nickel plated steel half-basket is pierced with “GVR” cipher of King George V.
Guard retains approx. 50% of nickel plating.
Sharkskin grip shows light wear with all wire binding intact.
Steel scabbard has small dent, tiny corrosion spots, approx 80% nickel plating.

Measures 14 ½” overall, with 9 ¾” blade marked “Collins Legitimus” logo on reverse ricasso
Blade is dual fullered with clip paint and in good condition with dings & pitting from use.
Straight brass guard, ferrule & pommel have moderate tarnish,
Stacked leather grips are fine.
Leather US Model 1887 Hospital Corps scabbard.

  French model foot artillery sword by Chatellerault dated “1832”
Excellent condition as taken from the battlefield during Civil War.
These weapons were purchased mostly by Confederates from Europe because they did not have the large armories of the North.
French inscriptions on both sides of blade at hilt.

Cross guard marked "Winchester Repeating Arms Co.", leather scabbard missing, originally finished in arsenal bright
15,000 issued to Marines
in service at start of Spanish American War, Philippines and Boxer Rebellion - saw much hard use
Countless of the original production were lost while being shipped on the Maine when it sank.
Original condition with the exception it is no longer bright, no pitting, no cracks in the wood, Extremely rare,
Very difficult to find in this condition.
