Called round-handled hatchet, intended for throwing as a weapon or as a utensil.
6 ½” head w/ 3 ¾” face which has a few small chips on edge.
Some oxidation.

U.S. 1832 artillery short sword By Ames.
25” overall, 19” leaf shaped blade w/long single and double fullers. Dark patina. Perhaps old sharpening marks on edges.
Faint Ames trademark on forte below double fullers on one side.
Brass hilt is polished.
Numerous handling scratches on hilt w/ “65” peened into the crossguard.
No scabbard.
Nice piece.

Left side of brass guard is clearly marked “7TN” & “1862”.

Blade marked “Courtney & Tennant Charleston, S.C.
(This company was a well known importer of such weaponry & stamped it with their name.)
Again these Bowie’s deserve further research.

Probably Prussian,
Beautifully crafted weapon,
26” from tip of blade to end of haft,
Heavy steel with semicircular wootz steel blade, engraved birds at base
and inlaid gold borders alongside edges.
Blade is counterbalanced by iron bull’s head w/ approx. 70% of original gold wash,
The iron haft has detailed inlaid silver wire decorations along entire length w/stylized gold washed bird capping the head.
Concealed iron spike at base can be unscrewed & withdrawn.
This is a wonderful weapon of highest quality steel and craftsmanship.
Collector quality.

All steel War Pik Late 17th C. - 18th C. Fierce looking weapon, 24 ½” overall.
Viscious looking triangular “tiger tooth” blade with cruciform cross-section and reinforced tip for the purpose of piercing armor.
Blade mostly gray patina & pinpricking pitting along the base. Recumbent brass lions on back edge.
The blade is counterbalanced by a heavy iron head topped with a 2 ¼” spike. The iron haft has pommel shaped like a mushroom, could well be used as a weapon.
Indo-Asian Weapon.

G. Bradshaw Bowie Knife
Measures 12” overall,
7” single edge, 3 ½” clip paint blade marked “VR” with a crown between the letters.
The finger guard and stamped German silver cutlery style grip are in very good condition.
Finger guard is slightly loose.
Blade is mix of dark gray patina and areas of oxidation stains.
Very unusual, interesting Bowie.
You won’t find many like this!
