	Flintlock Musket 1797 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania About .74 cal., 44” barrel, very good bore, Untouched condition, Metal surfaces have lovely patina. Marked “Miles” and “CP” On top of barrel is marked with sunken “P” proof & “CP” Maker – John Miles – Gun & Pistol manufactory, No. 500 North Second Street….Where merchants, captains of vessels and others may be supplied with all sorts of small arms, on the lowest terms and shortest notice. Also, Organ Guns on a new construction, with three to twelve barrels each, being simple and quick to load, and of utility surpassing anything, of the kind ever made – Specimens of which may be seen at the above manufactory, “John Miles”. The Pennsylvania Kentucky Rifle by Henry J Kauffman Wrist has repair. Large dual-strapped iron band atop the wrist, running to rear on both sides of comb. There are four large screws and large rivet which goes completely through the comb and comes out on the bottom of the trigger guard - this repair is still sound. Right side of comb has carved “JM”. There is a 5” thin sliver of wood missing from forearm & a sliver missing from just below the lockplate. Original flint and lock are mechanically functional. 	Marlin Model 1893 Lever Action Rifle Serial no. 157439, 30 – 30, 26” octagon barrel with excellent bore, “Special smoke steel” barrel retains approx. 75% original blue. Receiver shows approx. 90% original – fading case colors. Walnut buttstock shows a lot of original varnish, rates very good, with minor dents & dings from years of use. Old repair at point of comb (damage probably caused from folding tang aperture sight), Forend is very good, showing wear and a crack along its top edge.
