Total manufactured 51,210 – this serial no. 6680
Very heavy gun designed for large caliber,
Early model grips are beautiful, Mother of Pearl w/very small chip on Bottom of left grip.
.44 C.F., decent bore.
Address very faint on barrel.
Reblued,
Ring on bottom of grip is missing.
A great Wild West weapon.

  1849 Pocket Colt, 1st Model
One line address (“address Colt Sam Colt NY US America”)
Serial no. 189234 match except no number on wedge.
Wedge somewhat loose. Cylinder shows faint engraving of stage coach scene.
Minor pitting,
Probably reblued some time ago,
Screw heads clean, crisp.
Silver plating still on top of tang in front of triggerguard.
Grip has original finish showing normal wear.

  Eagle Ames Co. Front Loader revolver
Serial no. 1178, 30 teat fired.
3 ½” octagon barrel ww/ fair-good bore.
Metal surfaces on barrel and cylinder are gun metal gray w/ some scratches & pitting.
Cylinder marked “Patented July 12, 1859 & July 21, 1863”.
Brass frame is nice straw color.
Walnut stocks are excellent & numbered to the gun.
Rare front load metallic cartridge teat fire pistol w/ rear mounted ejector rod.
Good timing and lockup
Interesting for a collection.

  English style cannon barrel pistol
.44 cal. percussion.
2” round barrel w/ dark bore.
Brass surfaces retain nice light tarnish.
Steel hammer, trigger and guard are nice grey patina.
Center hammer.
Probably Belgian-made.
Nice engraved floral motif on both sides of frame.
Checkered walnut stocks rate excellent w/ gentle points of wear.
A popular style to add to collection.

British Center Hammer flintlock turnoff pistol
By Blair & Lea of Birmingham.
.44 cal., 2 ¼” barrel, lightly pitted bore.
Some light rust beginning to appear on underside of frame on frizzen.
Frame engraved w/ maker’s mark on left side – “Blair & Lea”
(Birmingham makers around 1785),
Simple bag shaped grip.
Good overall 18th century pocket pistol.

   European single shot percussion pistol by A.Kehlner of Prague, 1776 to 1841
.58 cal. percussion, 8 7/8” ribbed round barrel w/ octagonal patent breech and smooth bore.
Rathy fancy Eureopean pistol, restocked, now resembles a “Kentucky” style pistol.
Patent hook breech,
Inlaid silver band, geometric engraving.
Top barrel rib is marked “A. Kehlner in Prague”.
Simple steel blade front sight in dovetail.
Lockplate also maker marked w/scroll engraving.
Lots of nice engraving,
Nice English walnut stock. Inletting ground sculpted forward section of triggerguard & sculpted near rear section of ramrod funnel, small chink.
Ramrod probably original.
Crisp mechanics.

Serial no. 39402, .44 cal., 8” octagon barrel,
Excellent bright bore,
Metal surfaces retain about 70% evenly thinning original blue blending w/ brown patina.
Two piece walnut grips are very good.
Visible cartouche, light wear,
Overall nice example.
Maker barely visible on top of barrel,.
Front sight missing but easily replaced.
Nice – very clean.

7” round barrels with very good bores
Barrels are deep brown patina with case hardened breeches.
Lock plate maker marked “Pate/A. Charleville
French walnut stocks are excellent.
Original ramrods included,
Cased in walnut refinished case.
Included are ebony loading rod, small bullet mould, turn screw, & japanned tin of R D Walkers waterproof caps.
Locks functional & crisp – spring on flask needs repair.
A handsome display.

Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver
Serial no. 96183, matching numbers except for unnumbered replacement wedge.
.36 cal., 7 ½” octagon barrel, good bore,
Barrel & cylinder have medium to dark brown patina with some patches of light p.
All markings remain clear & legible. Metal is mostly smooth.
Grip strap retains about 98% non-original (but old) nickel plate.
Buttplate has some unusual markings – ‘U’ and “VA”.
Inspector’s mark “G” on left side of triggerguard (not the usual placement).
Walnut grips rate very good.
Manufactured in 1860.
Interesting pice.

Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver
Serial no. 200325,
.36 cal., 7 ½” octagon barrel with very good bore, minor light pitting,
Manufactured 1867, Fourth Model,
Address “Col. Sam Colt, New York, US America” clear on barrel,
Retains most of lightly roll marked naval scene.
All matching except loading lever & wedge.
Metal surfaces very good except scattered light dings and surface oxidation,
Light dings on butt. Walnut grips (one piece) are very good with partially visible cartouche, light handling marks and nearly all original finish remaining.
Right side of grip stamped “1/10”.
Some slot wear on a few screws,
Inspector’s mark on top of barrel.
Good action. Nice clean gun.
Very nice post Civil War gun.

Colt Lightning double action revolver
Serial no. 52264, .38-.40, 3 ½” barrel, excellent bore,
97-98% original nickel finish,
Checkered hard rubber grips have faded, are excellent w/ minor wear,
Tight mechanics except trigger spring is weak and needs attention.
Left side of barrel is inscribed “Colt DA 38”,
Top of barrel “Colt’s Pt. BA Mfg Co. Hartford CT USA”

Colt Model 1860 Army revolver
Serial no. 17725, .44 cal. 8” barrel with very good bore showing some specks of pitting.
Manufactured 1861, New York addressed, has faint cylinder scene.
Metal surfaces are overall grayish light brown patina with some specks of pitting,
The brass triggerguard / front strap was nicely cleaned some time ago.
One piece walnut grips are excellent with light handling marks.
No visible cartouche,
Set up for detachable shoulder stock (4 screwholes)
Wedge screw is a replacement.
Gun shows considerable use but not abused. Some signs of reconditioning long ago.
Screw on stock shows slot damage.
Nice example of weapon used just prior to Civil War. Could be Confederate.

British Bar Hammer Double Action Percussion Pepperbox
.34 cal., 3” ribbed six shot barrel cluster.
Very good bores,
Simple loose scroll engraving,
Proofed at breech end of barrel’s ribs,
Upper section of front strap is cracked on both sides of screw.
Excellent rosewood grips bearing very good old refinish.
Trigger return spring is a little weak.

Barrel slightly pitted, otherwise good condition,
Inspector’s mark “T” on backstrap,
“S” on cylinder,
Includes shoulder stock which is reproduction.

On left side of frame over triggerguard "cal. Winchester 1873",
On lanyard hole, right side of gun "657".
This gun is extremely rare, produced for Wild West; the date 1879 was during the height of Dodge City infamy. Famous outlaws & sheriffs such as Billy the Kid, Wesley Hardin, Pat Garritt, Wild Bill Hickock, etc.  History books document Wyatt Earp left Dodge at this time and headed for Tombstone with his two brothers and Doc Holiday.
This is a "one of a kind" treasure!
This is a "Wow!" collector piece.

Cased Restored London Colt Model 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver Serial no. 18067, .36 caliber, 7 ½ octagonal barrel with London address. London proofs. Blued finish. Case-hardened lever, hammer and frame. Domed fire-blued screws. Varnished deluxe burl walnut grips. Contained in original London style partitioned oak casing together with bag-shaped flask, two-cavity Colt’s Patent bullet mold, L-shaped tool and Eley London cap tin. Excellent as restored. Barrel and triggerguard retaining 100% reblued finish. Lever, hammer and frame retaining vibrant re-casehardening. Grips with wear and minor chip to toe. Cylinder refreshed by engraver Tim Adlam. Case with wear and scratches to lid. Interior lining faded and worn. Flask with minor dents and wear. Mold with grey patina and light pitting. Action rebuilt.

Cased Bill Lister Shop Custom-Engraved and Gold-Plated Exhibition Colt Bisley Frontier Six-Shooter Single Action Revolver together with Framed Photograph of Gun and Lister Serial no. 181458. .44-40 caliber, 5 ½-inch barrel. Custom scroll-engraved throughout in the Nimschke style. The left recoil shield bears an engraved profile of an Indian chief wearing a feather bonnet. Gold-plated finish. Signed: WEL under the barrel below the cylinder pin. Mastadon ivory grips. Contained in original suede-lined custom mahogany case together with 18 dummy cartridges and key. Also included is a matted and framed photo collage showing this revolver and a picture of “Big Bill” Lister(Weldon Edwin “Big Bill” Lister [Guitarist/Singer/Song-Writer]). A beautiful custom engraved Colt Bisley executed by a historic country music star. Excellent as configured . Case excellent, missing one small hinge screw.
