Large pair silver flintlock pistols
18" overall length, .60 cal
Barrels are 11 1/2", octagonal at breech to round, slightly flared at muzzle.
The full length stocks have chiseled steel furniture & extensive silver inlay.
The back of each stock has large lozenge shaped plaques w/ silver decorations.
The iron ramrods are integral with ferrules - scattered light pitting with traces of original engraving.
Both stocks have silver wire inlay - beautiful condition.
Handcrafted new case w/silver & brass fittings.
Middle Eastern style powderhorn,
large - approx 18 1/2", heavily decorated with silver and brass overlay.
Two large loops for hangers - one with brass chain to stopper.

Simon North "Horse" pistol flintlock
converted to percussion. lock markings ahead of hammer "US/S North",
dated "1828", inspectors marks are not clear, martially marked, very
interesting gun - has obviously been used in combat - saber slash
forward of trigger guard on left side, cutting through wood to metal
on trigger guard, this powerful saber strike caused a crack across
center, trigger guard itself was also dented by sword hand guard,
stock is firm- made of burl walnut, belt hook on left side, swivel
ramrod, a great piece of American history - should be considered
museum quality
