Late 1700’s, .38 cal., 1 ½” barrel. Very good bore.
Overall excellent condition.
London proof stamps. “H.Knock” on left side, “London” on right side.
Uncheckered bag shaped grip has been refinished. Mechanically tight & fully functional. Famous maker.

.58 cal. percussion, 8 7/8” ribbed round barrel w/ octagonal patent breech and smooth bore.
Rathy fancy Eureopean pistol, restocked, now resembles a “Kentucky” style pistol.
Patent hook breech,
Inlaid silver band, geometric engraving.
Top barrel rib is marked “A. Kehlner in Prague”.
Simple steel blade front sight in dovetail.
Lockplate also maker marked w/scroll engraving.
Lots of nice engraving,
Nice English walnut stock. Inletting ground sculpted forward section of triggerguard & sculpted near rear section of ramrod funnel, small chink.
Ramrod probably original.
Crisp mechanics.

Serial no. 96183, matching numbers except for unnumbered replacement wedge.
.36 cal., 7 ½” octagon barrel, good bore,
Barrel & cylinder have medium to dark brown patina with some patches of light p.
All markings remain clear & legible. Metal is mostly smooth.
Grip strap retains about 98% non-original (but old) nickel plate.
Buttplate has some unusual markings – ‘U’ and “VA”.
Inspector’s mark “G” on left side of triggerguard (not the usual placement).
Walnut grips rate very good.
Manufactured in 1860.
Interesting pice.

.36 cal., 7 ½” octagon barrel with very good bore, minor light pitting,
Manufactured 1867, Fourth Model,
Address “Col. Sam Colt, New York, US America” clear on barrel,
Retains most of lightly roll marked naval scene.
All matching except loading lever & wedge.
Metal surfaces very good except scattered light dings and surface oxidation,
Light dings on butt. Walnut grips (one piece) are very good with partially visible cartouche, light handling marks and nearly all original finish remaining.
Right side of grip stamped “1/10”.
Some slot wear on a few screws,
Inspector’s mark on top of barrel.
Good action. Nice clean gun.
Very nice post Civil War gun.

Serial no. 17725, .44 cal. 8” barrel with very good bore showing some specks of pitting.
Manufactured 1861, New York addressed, has faint cylinder scene.
Metal surfaces are overall grayish light brown patina with some specks of pitting,
The brass triggerguard / front strap was nicely cleaned some time ago.
One piece walnut grips are excellent with light handling marks.
No visible cartouche,
Set up for detachable shoulder stock (4 screwholes)
Wedge screw is a replacement.
Gun shows considerable use but not abused. Some signs of reconditioning long ago.
Screw on stock shows slot damage.
Nice example of weapon used just prior to Civil War. Could be Confederate.

This gun has seen some hard times – butt appears to have been used as a hammer,
Chip on both right & left of grip,
Repair made on rod that holds cylinder in order to have tight fit for wedge,
One screw on lift & screw at bottom of grip are damaged,
Pins need replacement to function properly,
Replacement screw on right side of tang,
Silver plated triggerguard & rear tang show considerable wear.
This was a popular gun during Civil War & used often as a second weapon. All heavily used.

This is a "one of a kind" treasure!

Case-hardened lever, hammer and frame. Domed fire-blued screws. Varnished deluxe burl walnut grips. Contained in original London style partitioned oak casing together with bag-shaped flask, two-cavity Colt’s Patent bullet mold, L-shaped tool and Eley London cap tin. Excellent as restored. Barrel and triggerguard retaining 100% reblued finish. Lever, hammer and frame retaining vibrant re-casehardening. Grips with wear and minor chip to toe. Cylinder refreshed by engraver Tim Adlam. Case with wear and scratches to lid. Interior lining faded and worn. Flask with minor dents and wear. Mold with grey patina and light pitting. Action rebuilt.
